1.How do we collect and use your personal information

(1) When you register a Gausium account, we need to collect your mobile phone number or email information. We will send a verification code to verify your identity and provide you with the service to complete the registration of your Gausium account;

(2) When you register a Gausium account, we need to collect information of the area where your personal information will be stored on the cloud server. You can choose the cloud server area where your personal information will be stored based on your location. This way, we can store your personal information on the local cloud server in your area according to your choice, so that we can store and protect your personal information more compliantly;

(3) When you need to bind a robot, repair a robot, or view the relevant usage tutorial of the robot, you can choose to use the “Scan” function to scan the robot’s recognition QR code and activate convenient and fast operations. The above function requires your consent to authorize us to obtain the permissions for your phone’s camera and photo album. If you refuse to provide these permissions, you will not be able to use this function, but it doese not affect your normal use of other functions and services of our product;

(4) When you need to repair a robot, you can choose to use the “sound recording” function so that we can quickly receive your repair request content, without the need for you to provide text information about the repair content. The above function requires your consent to authorize us to obtain the permission for your phone’s microphone. If you refuse to provide this permission, you will not be able to use this function, but it does not affect your normal use of other functions and services of our product.

(5) When you visit the official website of Gausium【 https://www.gs-robot.com 】 and submitting a message or conducting online consultation, in order to better provide you with relevant services and feedback in a timely manner, we will collect your mobile phone number information. You can also selectively provide your name information so that we can provide more accurate and timely feedback on your message or online consultation.

2. How do we use Cookie, Beacon and other technologies

(1) How we use Cookie technology to automatically collect information. When you visit Gausium’s website or use the services provided by Gausium, in order to make your access experience easier, we may identify your identity through small data files, which can help you avoid the steps of repeatedly entering registration information or help you judge the security of your account. These data files may be Cookies, Flash Cookies, or other local storage provided by your browser or associated applications (collectively referred to as “Cookies”). 3. How we store and protect personal information

(1) Where we store your information. The personal information we collect will be stored on Amazon Cloud servers in your country or region. If, due to business needs, we transmit relevant personal information collected domestically to overseas institutions, we will comply with laws, administrative regulations, and relevant regulatory authorities, and take effective measures such as signing agreements and verification. We will inform you of the purpose, recipient, security measures, and security risks of the information being exported, and require overseas institutions to keep the obtained personal information confidential. The personal information we collect will be executed in accordance with local laws and administrative regulations in your country or region. The storage period of your personal information we collect is until you cancel your account. If you choose to cancel your account, we will also delete your personal information, except for information that must be retained for a certain period according to relevant laws and regulations. 4. How we delegate, share, transfer and publicly disclose your personal information

(1) Entrusted processing

(7)Before responding to your requirements 3, 4, 5, and 6 mentioned above, in order to ensure security, we need to verify your identity and credential information. Once verified, it will be processed within five (5) working days; In case of special circumstances, a reasonable explanation that a response or inability to respond in a timely manner will be provided within a maximum of thirty (30) days or the time limit specified by laws and regulations.

(8) How do you cancel your Gausium account. You can log in to the cloud platform【 https://cloud.gs-robot.com 】Use the logout function or request to cancel your Gausium account through online customer service or Gausium Mobile APP. Please note that after your account is cancelled, we will delete your personal information.

(9)You need to understand the risk of device being ROOT. There is a risk that private information such as photos, contacts, and accounts may be stolen by third-party software after the system is ROOT! Please do not easily operate or hire others to operate ROOT devices.

6. Statement of third party liability

Please note that the third-party website operators you visit in the process of using the products and services provided by us, the third-party services accessed through us and the third parties receiving your personal information from Gausium may have their own privacy policies. When you view web pages created by third parties or use applications developed by third parties, these third parties may collect and use your personal information. We do not directly participate in the data collection and use of the above-mentioned third parties. The data collection and use of these third parties are not bound by this policy, but by the privacy policies of relevant collectors or users. We do not assume responsibility for the above-mentioned data collection and use of these third parties. Self-start and associated start instructions

(1)In order to ensure that the app can normally receive messages pushed by the client when it is closed or running in the background, the app must use the self-starting capability, and there will be a certain frequency of sending broadcasts through the system to wake up the app’s self-starting or associated startup behavior.
